Kenneth A. Marks
President

As president of JRE, Inc. Kenneth A. Marks shares most responsibilities with Marvin Biltis. This includes strategic planning and administrative functions as well as marketing, franchise development and franchise relations.

Ken was born in New York City and spent most of his early career in executive marketing positions for General Foods Corporation, Standard Brands and Colgate-Palmolive. In 1980, Mr. Marks launched MRD, Inc., a New York marketing and consulting company that developed advertising, marketing and sales promotion strategies for Fortune 500 companies including Nabisco Brands, Sara Lee, Citibank, Dun & Bradstreet and Pfizer.

In 1993, Ken moved to South Florida and acquired a multi-office temporary help agency based in Fort Lauderdale. In 1996, along with Marvin Biltis, he purchased Jewelry Repair Enterprises, Inc., the franchisor of FAST-FIX Jewelry and Watch RepairŪ stores.

Ken is married to Sondra Marks and has a son and daughter and four grandchildren, all living in New York. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a master's degree from Columbia University.
